India has never been short of people who can build. What it was short of was a room. Somewhere the people making things could find each other early, before the raise, before the following, before anyone was watching. That room didn't exist, so in January 2026 we booked one for a Saturday and told forty people to bring a laptop.

Seventy-five events later we're in seven cities, and the thing we got wrong is instructive. We thought we were running a community. What we were actually doing was building the layer India's tech scene was missing, the part that isn't funding or engineering, but taste, ambition, and the willingness to show up on a weekend. That layer is culture. It's the only thing here that can't be copied, and it's what we're betting the company on.
